Morning Frolic is a one-color 18" x 12" block print with mixed media embellishments including birch bark, gold leaf and watercolor. This design was inspired by the horses of Mackinac Island and wildflowers blooming in Michigan forests. Spot hidden critters among the flowers and trees! Each one is made to order and takes four-six weeks to complete.

Hand-Colored Relief Printmaking – The combination of printmaking and painting: details are carved out of the linoleum block and printed on top of a hand-colored print. Birch bark and gold leaf are then applied.
